On the basis of last years’s performance, most people would say that it would be very unlikely that the Seattle Mariners will be playing baseball by late October 2005. However, you never know. Seattlelites love their golf, and three city-owned golf courses consistently earn high marks from experienced local duffers. One, West Seattle Golf Course, has been consistently rated “tough” by a local Web site poll and offers spectacular views.
