2009 Winter Meeting

This year’s FSA Winter meeting will be held at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara North of San Diego, CA. This stunning resort is located in Carlsbad, CA, just 30 miles north of San Diego offering casual elegance in a natural setting accented by wildlife and wildflowers. The Four Seasons Aviara offers one of Southern California's finest resort experiences. With temperatures in the low 70's, beach, pool and spa relaxation opportunities, golf, tennis, and great meeting facilities, you are in store for a real treat when you attend the 2009 FSA Winter Meeting.

The meeting Agenda will be developed by the Forum Executive Committee and announced in November. The Forum Schedule will include; 1.Friday Evening [January 30] - Informal gathering of FSA members, guests, and friends; 2.Saturday [January 31] - All day meeting featuring NAHC Staff Legislative and Regulatory updates, Lunch, and State Share features, 3.Saturday Evening [January 31] - Group Dinner, 4.Sunday Morning [February 1] – meeting schedule continues until about 11:00 a.m.

REMEMBER: The NAHC annual Strategic Planning Congress will meet on January 30 prior to the FSA Winter meeting.

Annual Policy Conference

March 21 & 22, 2009

The 2009 Annual Forum Policy Conference is one of the most important events of the year.  This two day conference is scheduled to immediately preceed the NAHC March on Washington & Legal Symposium. 

State Association Executives and their Board Presidents will hear Legislative and Regulatory updates from NAHC Staff, see presentations from members of Congress and Health Care Administrative staff, and discuss advocacy strategies in preparation for the Tuesday, March 24, march on Capitol Hill to advocate for Home Care & Hospice issues.  Not only is this event important for our Federal advocacy efforts, it is both energizing and fun.
